Together, we can do this!

We must protect our progress and move Colorado forward.

At this critical moment for Colorado, we must protect the hard-fought protections for Colorado women, LGBTQ+, and communities of color. We must also rise to meet the challenges of today and prepare Colorado for the future.

Below are my priorities for a stronger, healthier, and more affordable Colorado. If you love our state as much as I do, I hope you’ll join my campaign and help us rise to meet this moment.

Affordable Housing for Working Families

Chris knows firsthand how housing insecurity impacts families. She will support state investments and public-private partnerships that build more affordable, energy-efficient housing across mountain and rural communities—so teachers, first responders, service workers, and young families can afford to live where they work.

Economic Opportunity in Rural Colorado

As a small business attorney and county leader, Chris understands the challenges rural economies face. She will champion policies that expand broadband access, invest in local infrastructure, and support small businesses and entrepreneurs—strengthening local economies while reducing the cost of living for families.

Access to Healthcare and Mental Health Services

Every Coloradan deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter their income or location. Chris will advocate for expanded rural health services, mental health providers in schools and communities, and funding for clinics that serve children, families, and seniors alike.

Protecting Our Environment and Natural Resources

Chris is deeply committed to protecting Colorado’s land, air, and water. She will support investments in wildfire prevention, water conservation, and clean energy—balancing environmental protection with the long-term sustainability of our outdoor economy and rural communities.

Education That Builds Opportunity

Chris believes that strong public schools are the foundation of a thriving Colorado. She will work to ensure every child has access to well-funded, inclusive education—from early childhood to vocational training and higher education—with a focus on closing opportunity gaps in rural areas. Closing that wage gap and building paths to the middle class also means access to professional trades training as well as out-of-classroom learning through robust library and public museum resources.

Justice, Equity, and Human Rights

As Leadville’s first female municipal judge, Chris led with a restorative justice approach focused on solutions, not punishment. She will continue to defend human rights, civil liberties, and access to justice for all Coloradans—regardless of background, citizenship, or economic status. With decades of legal and public service experience, Chris knows how to cut red tape and make government more effective. She will work to increase transparency, improve service delivery, and ensure tax dollars are used wisely and responsibly.
